Need some help

Well Ive gotten to level 10 already. I just realized I can catch pets and I tested it on some like that blue scorpion looking thing. Now I am wondering where the cultivation guy is (the one southwest of Cambridge village) and I can't find him. I want to learn my new skills so I can own even more. Also is this build good?
