View Full Version : Will these forums turn out like FW?

This specifically relates to Tor. I just made a thread wanting to see a very lovable/hatable user named Ting 55 and look what it turned into. Tor sure there will be flamers and haters in this forums future but that thread was pure grudge. Children do play this game and a lot of FW is migrating here bringing alond their reckless behavior/rudeness. IMO I think we need at least a couple mods once we get 300 members. What do you think?

Look at what this innocent turned into. I despise it and I feel horrible for Ting to be the victim of random flaming that was unnecessary to begin with. Things like this will have to be dealt with immediately to ensure that this forum remains a safe community. Again I ask, what do you think?

Nothing like that has happened here yet. Once it does, Tor will decide what to do.

yes but thats what I was saying Nav. A huge migration from FW is coming here to try the game out bringing their hatred and grudges against users already here. You saw how Thanatos and Xtasy acted in Tings goodbye thread right? They were actually insulting bloodaxe and rutiene just so they can flame. Thats what Im worried about. People often do get hurt (emotionally) during flame wars and the flame baiter is always immature and will not stop. That thread got through 4 pages before Aidan came and shut it down, and that was because I sent him a message telling him to.

This place is still new. And the community is very small in comparison with Flyffworld.

Those who have had plenty of experience by now would be able to put a stop to such things while maintaining a balance between being protective and being user-friendly.

Tor is actually very, very easy-going.

What happens in SC, stays in SC.

I don't think anyone in their right mind keeps grudges from SC in mind.

no same in Tings goodbye thread. All his haters came to put him down. It was literally horrible and thantos and Xtasy actually insulted mods just so they can flame.

A little drama is fine. But this is a new forum and people should not come here with their hatreds from other forums.

Might I add I really hate goodbye threads? Just make one a sticky for everyone. And thats it. No personal goodbye threads. :roll:

Yah insulting mods is never okay unless they started it in which case their mod-rights should be revoked. They are supposed to be mediators and help the admins.
