Anyone else here into East Asian dramas or movies? I've been watching the Taiwanese drama "It started with a kiss." It's really good! I'm on episode 19. I thought that the show was only 20 episodes long but apparently it goes on for much longer I'm thinking 30 episodes. I would love to hear about any other great dramas or movies!

Lately kinda into seeing Daniel Henney (My Lovely Sam-soon & Seducing Mr. Perfect) and Kim Sung-soo (Full House). Daniel has a movie that hasn't come out over in the US yet called "My Father." I'd love to see that, find out if it's any good.

I'm kinda addicted to watching the dramas now. :geek:

O.o Even I've known this for a while. Poor Silas seems left out of the loop.

<.< And I thought I had it bad.

I thought you were a girl krescen from the way you post  You owe me an apology or an explanation. I think silas is a boy I guess I think I've seen you on FW.

If you guys don't watch I understand cause the dramas are mainly girly themed. I don't usually watch this type of thing but a friend of mine got me addicted to good one so I got hooked in. I mainly laugh at how dramatic and ridiculous the characters go on.

Although the current character Xiang Qin on "It started with a kiss" is getting on my nerves with all her obsession and whining. My nerves are starting to wear thin as far as she goes. I do like Zhi Shu cause he seems really grounded in reality.

If Sora wants explanations, Sora needs to log on to IRC. >.> Explanations are too long and detailed and require conversation.

Besides, I've eaten enough of your topic. --Backs out--

Don't know a joke when you read one huh? Well I was joking about the explanations but maybe you were serious about the apology? :D I'm slightly curious as to why what sex you are requires details and explanations but I'm not all that interested. Anyways, was just kidding around, no need to get worked up.

Anyways, if anyone else watches these dramas it'd be great if anyone had any suggestions for some other interesting dramas. I'm looking for another good one after I finish my current.

I bet your mom has seen some good dramas! I'm about to give up on "It started with a kiss" for real. The girl Xiang Qin is too pathetic and obsessive over Zhi Shu. He's isn't all that and shouldn't be all that to any woman. I can understand someone falling in love with him but not like Xiang Qin has. He really kinda boring most of the time. A bland personality to me. I like him though for being grounded in reality and the only one with self-respect and a brain.

Headed to bed. Gotta head in to work tomorrow. Night. :geek:

Sounds like an anime series. I recommmend "Autumn in my Heart."T___T

that drama is so sad... T___T made me cry buckets.
But Winter Sonata is hands down the biggest tear jerker k-drama there is. T___T

Devil Beside You (taiwanese drama) is a good one. :)
Why Why Love (taiwanese drama) is pretty cute. I'm still in the middle of watching it. So far so good.
My Lovely Sam Soon (k-drama) is good. Although I think Sam Soon, despite her down-to-earth -ness, is annoying at times. :x
Full House (k-drama) is super cute. But some people might find the main guy a bit too mean and overbearing. I really like it though.

.-.
I can't remember the other dramas I've seen but I'll list them out later.

Silas, stop being immature and let them talk on topic >.<

If you don't like the topic, then it's best to avoid it. Turning them down like that is quite inconsiderate. >.<

Some friends told me that Goong (k-drama) is a good one.

ohoh! "Fashion 70's" is a good one (http://www.hancinema.net/korean_drama_Fashion_70s.php). It got me crying a bit too, especially the beginning when they showed what happen to the characters when they were children T__T

one of the main actors in that drama is in this movie called "200 pounds of beauty." I highly recommend the movie <3

That's the same girl from Full House.
I thought she looked a bit too wretched in Autumn in My Heart. >___< But she did look really pretty in Full House.
