Hi everyone,

This is my first post on the forums and the first I've ever even heard of PW. It looks absolutley amazing. I'm kicking myself really hard for missing the closed beta. Anyway once the OB starts I can't wait to start playing with you all. What was everyones overall impressions so far.

Just a couple of quick questions. Sorry If they've been asked before but I had trouble finding the info..

1/ When will the open beta start?
2/ Should I even bother downloading the rar files for the closed beta installer? Will I need to download all over again once they launch the open beta?

Any info at all would be appreciated. Can't wait to try this thing out.

1)We believe its this thursday but the date has not been released yet.
2)I don't believe you can download the files yet but if you can download them now so you don't have to wait. You will not need to redownload it.
3)I can honestly say everyone liked it.
4)Welcome aboard..you misses the welcome and goodbye section though.

I'm still expecting Open Beta to be version 5. Closed Beta was V3.

I still expect our first patch to be quite large.

I'm also getting concerned with the lack of release dates, it's getting a bit too close.

I warn you now, while welcoming you, that you had best enjoy spending most of your time doing quests.

Thanks for all the info everyone. Sorry I missed the welcoming section for this post.
I wouldn't be too worried about the whole release dates thing. Release dates are never accurate with mmo's.
The questing part of it is what I'll like ;)

yup its a no grind till 40!!but if you manage to get to 60.. youll have a different outlook at the game (mainly because you are now eligible to use all your skills).. and basically thats where most of the fun starts >.<

The last few skills also seem the most impressive, but many of the big effects are reserved for after you pick an alignment.
