Does anyone know how it compares? Bigger? Smaller? By how much?
In terms of total map area where your character can explore.

I heard it takes 1.26 hours to just fly across from 1 point to the other.

Dungeons are about the same size as Dragon City. DC is 2-3 times larger then the racial capitals. There is also nearly 50 dungeons.
Are there inddor areas too, like inns and taverns?

nope you dont get any rested exp..
as compared to wow.. well wow map is much larger.. but very time consuming..
for pw teleporters saves you a lot of time.. unlike wow which you have to travel and experience the travel itself.. that is with regards to map alone..

Teleporting is done quite a lot, and there are a lot of teleporters. Use up a lot of your cash, but they are well used none the less.

i never found wow's map to be time consuming...lots of flight paths, warlock summons, mage portals, and of course mounts. so far in perfect world, travel is REALLY slow and your only option seems to be teleporting. i dont get the point of the flying mounts...they seem to go the same speed as you running?

All mounts are faster then walking. The level 1-29 wings are the same speed as walking only to be fair. Anything else is faster by some amount.
Nah, I believe flying is faster, since you can go over terrian. Also I believe archers get a boost of flying speed at lvl 17 or something. Don't remember. Goes a little bit faster.

Level 9, 0.2% faster each skill level.
But yes, avoiding Terrain is a faster part, as well as it is faster then swimming. The damage reductions and mp effects are annoying though, which end at level 30. You also can't use boosts until 30.
<.< Never PVP or PK in the air, you do 50% less damage flying and 75% less damage to players.

i've only been in one dungeon so far...the wolf den place at lvl 19. it was really dull. and targeting in this game is pretty bad. theres no shortcut key to 'target nearest enemy' or 'cycle targets'. and the boss was just easily kited around. ehhhh :( kinda losing interest fast in this game..

<.< Few games have 'target nearest enemy'. The game does have 'target monster currently targeting you', which I do like a lot. I haven't even been to the level 19 dungeon, although I've earned my flying sword, but I don't see how it could be considered boring. Maybe you were just playing a boring class.
Using cheap tricks to make the game overly easy would obviously ruin the value of the game. The simple solution is to not use such tricks. The fox luring thing is one thing I don't place much value in, because it ruins most of the fun. I've seen it used on a few bosses, but had much more fun on the same bosses without such cheap tricks.

i played werefox. no idea if thats a 'boring' class or not compared to the others. and they should design the bosses so you can't use cheap tricks on them then. its not like we intentionally went in there to kite the boss around. one person just started running away from it and we found that the boss would never actually catch up to him.
well i base my comparison on WoW and guild wars, which both had target newest enemy and cycle through enemy targets. inside the dungeon with 5 other people and their pets all wandering around, its a pain in the ass to actually click on an enemy to target it. i know theres an 'assist' icon and i've used it, but meh.

LOl you kited mobs inside the dungeon?
in here its simple... get a werefox, tame mob (regardless if tameable, it will fail) thereby aggroing the said mob but not its adjacent mobs.. theres an attack assist button. just clik on the werefox then then AA button then there you got your target...
theres also an alternative for luring bosses without risking the werefox's life and xp.. order pet to attack boss then let it die (give time for our werefox to hightail it) .. the boss alone should come running towards the werefox.. the tank then should make a point to grab the boss.. oh and as you progress in the later dungeons, it gets harder.. youll need yu ing bubbles and dispels..

She wants to know how to make it less boring, because she does the fox trick junk. It's why I want to make an LM Fox, and leave my pet on Guard mode. Become less dependent on it, just use it for backup/added damage.
If I'm worried about contribution, that's why I will have two other classes. One which will be good for dungeons, one good for TW. Fox won't even be a main for me. Just to mess around with things.
I have "Assist" on hotkey. If you use it, you automatically select the target of the person you used it on. If you use it and stand still, you will wait for them to select a target if they have not yet.

yea indoor bosses are noobs as compared to outdoor ones, the 2 last bosses in soulless gate resets as soon as we jump in the water haha.. outdoor bosses are the real mobs to worry, they even follow their attackers inside cities.. and lots of dead bodies will show up eventually.. damn mob aoe... >.<
I made a werefox just for the 3 legendary pets and nothing else >.<
if not for those, i wouldve been a battle priest >.<
