well this is what *interest me* when i was scrolling down for the new skills in the upcoming patch

This year, PW opened a new patch in PW2 china that will provide a new new gaming experience, patch of "Burning Anger of the God's". Here are some screenshots of the new monsters.

Warning/Precaution: if you are happen to hunt them (the new mobs), make sure you get the correct mobs and not the REAL people (game char):lol:...since they look like US :lol:

How prompt have past patches been?

Are patches often buggy at first?

Do all of these updates come at once, or will there be periodic releases? I've heard different things on this including that there will be new mounts in August, that there will be a giant patch in October, and that there's nothing until the end of the year. Combinations thereof have been rhumoured too..

What's the truth, and where did you get your information?

There's supposed to be "one patch every month" after the full release of PW-MY-EN. We had a May patch, but no June patch, and as of yet no July patch :x.

well...someone in the guild said there will be a huge patch on august (dont remember who said it...eitheir kaz or shin :D)...and sweet_me said that there will be new skills for lvl 79 and 100 and he/she give me the link (which i posted earlier with the new SS mobs) so that i can look at it...so i'm not sure whether is it true that there will be a huge patch next month or not...looks like we need to wait for it and see whether is it true or is it just a rumuor

hmm yuka...according to sweet_me, the new patch will be on august but i'm not sure whether is it true or not...so we need to wait and see.

Well, according to what ive heard a big patch is coming in august, someone said it was up on some forums that they were completeing it atm, had been released from beijing just recently. A patch that makes it same as to CN current version.
That is what ive heard, i have no clue at all if its true or not.
One thing though, PW-INT is coming at about the same time that patch is about to be released, so that might just have the latest patch already from its beginning.

The page i linked in Baroque guildchat, http://janelh.wikidot.com, has had information about this patch for a long time now, ive used it to look at military ranking gear and to stare at the new things in future patches.

I just want to tell you that none of this is for certain, but pieces fit toghether quite well so i wouldnt be surprised if it is like this ^^
Oh and please dont blame me if its not gonna be like this XD

I have reason to believe that International will be far more updated than any other version, as it's hosted by Perfect World Co which means they will be the first to get the updates since the company who's making the updates is the one running the game.

I doubt that PW INT will be more updated than MY; however, I think it'll be released in close-to condition.

As for the patch, do you think the MY patch will be simultaneous with the INT release? If so, how am I supposed to decide what to play?! :x

As far burning anger, it's not the August patch. August patch is 14 I think. Expansion is closer to like January for MY-EN if we're lucky. Also pray it comes out even later if you aren't 100. New skills favor pretty much EAs and WFs. EA meihou needs to gtfo. Fury 3 should not be spammable.

Hey guys, im new here but im a pretty experienced PW player. I got to level 76 on my werebeast on MY before quitting due to 5+ second delay :(. But im hopping this version will be better. Anyways to get to the point the other day i read this on MMOSITE.

MMOsite: Have you encountered any difficulties in localizing Perfect World? Have you made any changes to cater to the American audience? And as far as I know, the Chinese version of Perfect World has released three expansions. How frequent do you plan to release an expansion or update for the U.S players?

Jonathan Belliss: Of course, with a content-rich game such as Perfect World, localizing all the text is no easy task. We realize that Free to Play games in the US have a reputation for having poor localization, and we aim to break that trend by placing special care in localizing Perfect World for American players. We're diligent in our work and want to bring you best possible product, ever.

With regard to updates, we plan to stay on par with China's updates. So don't worry, you're not going to miss anything with Perfect World International.

So in summary he's basically saying that the international version will stay on par with the chinese version so does that mean that we can expect things like housing,flying in territorial wars,and marriage(just implemented in MY version) on release? Aswell as having the same cash shop items and mounts?

Unfortunately the housing system is something that was only present in Perfect World I, which was subscription based. When Perfect World converted from subscription to Free to Play, that feature was dropped sadly.

With regard to all the other features you listed. All of them will be present in our version in good time. You will be seeing more information regarding the status of our version as we get closer to the beta. ;)
