okay, I have been reading but not understanding a whole lot.
i just started a WF level 3 but in reading about how to allocate I am not sure what to put where.
can someone give some info for the different types of game play for WF and list how to allocate the 5 points per level.
i still have my 10 points and basically i want to be able to use the fox to tank and take the damage/and to attack while I heal and help attack. I dont PK or do PvP unless I have to and generally I run :)
I just want to do dungeon crawls and play the game while doing quests and such. i read that this class is the best for soloing and that is my main play style. I dont have alot of time to stay online for long periods and make good friends so I do alot of soloing in game.
so with all that said. how should I allocate my points.
I want to be strong against the monsters ( i guess that is PvE but not sure)
from what I have read I dont need agility for this class.( am I right) but that I need alot of con.

I'm soooo confused so any help would be appreciated

3 main choices:

1: Int build, you wear robes. Low phys def, high magic defense, high hp.
Str = (Your level + 8) / 2
Int = (At least Your level x 3)
Con = (Remaining points)
Agi = 3

2: Light build, you wear light armor. Decent phys def, decent magic defense, low hp.
Str = (Your level + 4)
Agi = (Your level +4)
Int = (Your level x 3)
Con = 7+, depending on leftover points.

This build doesn't include enough points to add into con, so unless you get a lot of armor with +hp, your hp will be quite low.

3: Heavy armor, high phys defense, low magic defense, low hp.
Int: (Your level x3)
Str: (Enough to wear heavy armor 3-4 grades lower than you)
Agi: (Enough to wear heavy armor 3-4 grades lower than you)
Con: 3 (Or however many points are left over.)

Any of these builds are viable with a caster class, and all of them can wear robes as well. If you wish to go purely fox form, you can choose the heavy armor build or light armor build and scrap int to use a lower grade weapon so that you can either keep current with your heavy armor requirements or add to str for additional damage. Honestly if you want to be a solo class, a robe class with scrapped con in favor of higher int would be better, as it allows you to heal your pet more, allowing you to do stronger bosses by yourself. Only thing you have to watch out for is aggro.

Attacking with fox form does pretty weak damage unless you scrap your int in favor of str, in which case you'd have to use weapons that are a few grades lower than your current level as well as ruin your heal. It's up to you really x:
