i just got my pet back pack expanded by 2.

what does that mean. does my pet have a back pack that I can put items into?? as you can see I'm very new to this class and don't know the answer to this.

also, as a werefox can I ride an animal??
if so, what/how do I get a riding mount?
can I be a fox and have my pet out at same time?


very newb questions I know but we all gotta start somewhere.
post anything else you think is good knowlege for a beginner here

You shouldn't feel bad for asking questions. This is a good place, and there are likely other young ones that need the same things answered.

Your pet backpack shows up when you hit "P". It holds the various pets that you have. Every class but werefox starts with only one slot.

As a werefox, you can ride mounts that are all class, and there a few special flying mounts, though you can not ride horses until lvl 40, and you will get your flying manta at lvl 30. Until then, you're on foot or have to hoist cuddle to get a ride in the air or on a mount.

Yes, you can be a fox and have your pet out. Many werefoxes decided to make fox-form their primary fighting form. You can still use your pet at this time.

another question i have never asked is about combo skills

HOW DO YOU DO THAT! I just have not been able to figure it out.
i have a wr and i see that i have choices for combos but I dont know what they mean. so any answers for this would be appreciated also.

You can create combo skills in game by hitting "R". You will see the section at the bottom for combo skills, then you can hit "New" and make one. To be honest, I've made one and I never ever use it. The reason is because I like to see how my pet is doing at all times. For example, say you use the combo skill, but your pet has agro'd a couple of mobs and needs a heal, then you're either just cancelling the combo or not pulling off your heal. Either way, I don't see it being useful.

Actually, do any other werefoxes use this skill?

Thanks for the answers. I was able to set up a combo. i thought that each of the icons was a combo in itself but it is just an icon to mark what combo you set up. confused me.
I set up a combo on my WR char for multiple attacks.

I have not used it on my WF char yet. will have to see what i can do after i get some skills. only level 12 on that char for now.

I am loving this char tho. very useful in the beginning to have a pet to take the damage ...will see how i progress with it.

me 2 i had never made a combo cause i like the way i choose wat skills 2 use in wat situation. although combo can save time than press a lot of buttons. C:

btw u will need fruits n ganoderma next time 2 upgrade ur pet backpack to hold more mounts n pets :p :) :lol:

I agree with Carmine about locking in combos... I don't think most werefoxes use them.
