I use a flying pig as a tank and it works out pretty well. I lovvvve him.
I don't know much about the various bees and foxes, though. :x

Pig = air tank. Bee = attack pet. Foxie = medium I guess? Weak either way, but if you REALLY dont' want a fly, a foxie isn't terrible. x:

I think that, as a werefox, choosing a pet that's different from what everyone else does can be rewarding, but I think you'll find that you eventually decide to go with what works. (Trust someone who wasted time levelling a beetle to tank.. haha) So, in the air, you'll find that you can go for tank, attack, or balance, it seems.
Please let us know if you DO decide to raise a foxie. I've been really curious to see if they're more balance or just lacking in all areas :p.

As for warriors... if you think about it, ALL of the classes have similar problems. It's not just with pets. Warriors have to decide what weapon to use, and since our pets are damage for us, one can compare it to deciding how to spend your precious skill points on skills. I know that EPs, for example, have a really limited number of SP, so they have to make tough decisions about going for offense or defense. This is exactly the underlying problem this thread is about.
