Macross Frontier Is The Best Anime I seen in 2008

I'm super hooked on it. I never ever liked watching mecha anime, but this one is so good. It has music, love triangle, some funky twists, a good storyline continuation of previous series. It's so good man.

Have you guys even seen macross frontier? It might be best to watch macross zero first. Don't worry you won't have to watch previous series to get the jiss of it. I didn't just those two. Zero is like 6 eps long, and frontier is ongoing with 17 so far.

Synopsis: Macross F is set in around 2070A.D.. F denotes "Frontier"; "Frontier" stands for the migration fleet which is the setting of the story. The story is about the fleet's encounters with space monsters (or things to that effect) while on its course.

It doesn't have much fighting so far, even through 18 episodes. I really like how they do the endings. They transition the episodes into the ending in some episodes which is awesome imo. Instead of wasting a minute on credits, you get 1 extra minute of content.

You guys should atleast check out one episode.

Serious? I hate watching gundamn too. Actually never even seen one episode. I did see endless waltz though about 45 minutes of it.

Start watching Macross Zero...it's sorta like the prequel to Frontier. It's only 6 eps I think for zero so far.

Nope, zero is the prequel. It's still confusing right now. There's gotta be some massive twists to the three main characters I think. Like who they are.

I think Sheryl and Sara will be related somehow. When I saw Ranka I thought she would be related somehow because of her tan(?) skin and the fact that she can't remember anything that happened in the past. Connection somehow? & they can both sing but only Ranka seemed to have affected that thing.

Ep 6 had one of the most fluid transitions to the end theme that I ever seen. That song diamond crevesse is so awesome. Sheryl really rocked that song and setting was perfect.
Then in ep 7 the ending theme aimo will play a big role in the coming episodes with Ranka.

But as far as I can tell, i'm in the fog as much as you are except one key info about Sheryl. I don't know the connections either.

Sheryl's singing had a connection with alto in ep7. I think there's a clue there to who she is, but i'm not sure either.

Overall a very good anime. The ending wasn't so good for me. For others they thought it was the da bomb, but I wanted more. It seem like they rush the thing.
