PvP mage?

I actually plan to go venomancer in the full release, but for the closed beta of the Int, I want to get to 30+ and go PK spreeing towards the end, since they plan to wipe chars

what would be recommended for a pk mage? (any info, equips, stats, skills tactics)

PVP or PK?

PVP is very hard for a mage.
Try first to find out what your skill delay is . if you opose a WR for example and your connection is 1 sec slower he/she stuns ye and its over.

But you talk about a Mage or a WF? there allot of difference in pvp.
Because you cant Kite very good, sry you cant kite at all in PW.
you need to find out the right combo, the fastest casting/ freezing, interrupt combo.
A WF has a reflect skill thats a real pain for DD'ers.

In my opinion PK is lame and cowardly. and if you wanne pk peeps around your lvl make sure you have a good fly device. Because if you cant kill them in one hit while they digging herbs or something ,you will go down in a sec.
Because you dont go on PK hunt in a good gear...and a mage need all he can get.
If you PK people 20 lvl lower...no need for nothing..any idiot can do that.
A.M.F. only idiots can have fun with that.

And a pure PVP build if not suported by a VERY VERY good friends never earns the money to buy your high lvl, needed gear.
with real money it will cost you hundreds of dollars.
In my opinion go for a PVE build to earn your money and after lvl 89 do a restat.
A PVE build is pure int mage or WF.
I have at lvl 89, 20 Con/Vit. the needed points for the gear, and the rest on int. I can tank any Magic boss in HH or in FB's.
I also remover my agi points, to avoid Crit. and take aggro on phy bosses as dmge dealer.

U r wrong, actually MG is pretty good now in PvP. Check out the new skills, they giv MG a big advantage. ;)
