Takuma Hirose, a blind young male high school student, though the cause for his blindness is undetermined. In order to heal his medical condition, he is sent to live in a village with his uncle. There he meets several girls. Three of them stand out more than any of the others. They are Hayami Kohinata, Hinata Kangura, and Otaha. Otaha temporarily heals his blindness and Hirose uses his sight to help others. He finds out that, for some reason, Hayami Kohinata is hated in the village, and he tries his best to help her out. Meanwhile, many sad secrets unfold in the village...

I like it though, the whole hating thing going on and what not. I like the "small town" themes.

Hmm. Well I haven't watched the ending yet :/ Maybe I'll end up changing my mind. But from what I've seen so far I like it.

Mhm first post in the forum =D. The ending to this was really nice, the whole series was good throughout; Surprisingly Yui went from a character I hated in the beginning to a nice one near the end.

Also School Days wasn't horrible at all, it seemed pretty realistic, more of a drift from the fantasy like animes out there, so it must've been different for a lot of people. School Days had quotable things too...

it turns out the manga turns out vastly differently, where the 2 that die in the anime live, and the one that lives in the anime dies...

I liked Sekai a lot better =/.

It's based off the game, and the game had multiple endings. The way the anime ended was considered by MANY as the "Good" ending of the game.

Yeah. The voice actor for Hayate from Hayate no Gotoku was a woman too. I was quite surprised, but hey, whatever, it works.
