I finished level 7 quest. I'm trying to tame a riding wolf. Do I damage the wolf first, then try to tame, or start out clicking the tame skill then damage it? I know this is a dumb question, but I'm having a hard time.
Thanks for being patient!

Damage it first, then tame. You can't attack while taming (although your pet can) so it's generally advisable to get the monster to under half hp or so before you try to tame it.

I alos heard that you can only tame pets that have a face on their bar. Is that true. Cuz if it is I am soooo ungry. I tried to keep taming this monster and it wouldn't work I don't remember if it had a face on the bar though.

Yes it is. The colour of the face indicates how hard it is to tame it, and if its a red you will not want to waste any energy to do it at all because of level limits.

Besides hp, monster boosts also affects the taming succession. Ie, you can tame a weaken monster without even having its hp to be reduced to less than 50%. Same goes to monsters with HP enhance etc, you will find it quite hard to tame even when their hp is less than 30%.
