This class is what some people may call clerics or if you played flyff the ringmaster. They heal and ressurect and can fight(not very well though). I do not recommend starting with this class because they are not very cost efficiant. This class always needs a partner and can be great for bosses.

Hmm. So basically a support class. Judging by the number of posts in this thread, not many people really interested in this class either xD I guess we all want to hack and smash before thinking about leveling efficiently xD

But I do hope that the game doesn't depend on this classes to level though ><

They are a must have for dungeons and boss fights. bascially the roles of a cleric/priest you find in other games.

You can be quite good at pvp using your curse spells at later lvls.

Must have pk skills:

Five Tone Hierogram - Manipulate the vigor energy to form the Five Tone Hierogram, using the cost of reducing oneself's magic attack damage to paralyze the enemy a certain amount of time.

Five Hue Hierogram - Manipulate the vigor energy to form the Five Hue Hierogram?using the cost of reducing oneself's movement speed to put the enemy to sleep.

Five Element Hierogram - Manipulate the vigor energy to form the Five Element Hierogram?and using the cost of reducing oneself's magic defense to reduce the enemy's magic defense. (Use on physical classes)

Five Corporeity Hierogram - Manipulate the vigor energy to form the Five Corporeity Hierogram?and using the cost of reducing oneself's physical defense to reduce the enemy's physical defense. (Use on magical classes)

>.x The harsh part is what you lose for using them.

A Priest is mostly (when support) all about their buffs which last 30 minutes to 1 hour. They just get a larger variety of healing skills then other classes do, but nearly everyone heals something. >.x

It means that, while they are useful, so long as you have someone who can do related tasks, they wouldn't be 100% unnecessary. However, the same with every class, if you can add any class in a party which you don't already have, it gives you more of an edge.

I find it weird that, minus their level 59 skill with one level to it, they have no way to buff someone's physical attack power. True though, there are other classes who can do that to some extent. This is another reason why the game is balanced.

I've been fighting with my lvl 6 Elf Priest and she does fine against monsters a level or so above her. I haven't really explored the fighter elf class but i think I will now.

this class seems like a nice, refreshing change from FlyFF's assist.

this might just be my first class, and i can't wait to try it out. <3

I would really like to make a cleric, but I don't have anyone to play with online. If we would make a guild here, then I would consider making one, but right now... nah thanks, I rather kill than heal at the moment. :p

Lol we are making a guild here. You can be my little supporter if you want kekeke.
We already decided the guild name would be tempest though after a long time coming up with on and like american Idol deleting each one from a short time till we end up with americas best guild name.

Everyone plays a Team role, and everyone does killing. Every class in the game has buffs which others need, and every class has deadly attacks with which to kill others with.

Priests, for example, are highly effective at killing Mages. A Warrior would instead easily be killed by a Mage.

I love things like that, reminds me of those table top- / round based strategy games.

Like:
Swordfighter kill Spearmen,
Spearmen kill Cavalry,
Cavalry kill Swordfighter. (And so on...)

If Perfect World would have, a somewhat, similar system, these territory-warfare battles would be interesting. Well too bad, you'd need a commander, or at least someone who has some sense of tactics. Even then, I guess in the end, they will all just crush on eachother like a big PVP Party lol.
Meh.

>.> A strong player will not win TW, no matter how strong you are, you do crap to buildings. Only Siege Weapons do noticeable damage to buildings. So the Champion of TW is not the player who can rush forwards and crush anyone in the way, but the player who doesn't let a single player within 10 feet of their defended siege weapon.

Siege weapons? There are buildings / fortresses to destroy!? Oh lord, TW sounds awesome. *___*

There are a few links referring to it around. If you can't find it, IRC has easy to access information too.

Priests are not just a support class. Saying they are is a complete lie. If you build them the right way they can rule both pvp and pve. My priest is a healer and a mage build, not a supporter who focuses on buffs. He can handle all mobs but bosses and crushes in pvp. The trick to making an elf priest that can solo and fight well is purely statting them right and sp management. If you want a priest that can solo, this is how you build it. Every 2 lvls you get 10 stat points. 6 of them goes in intellegence, 3 of them in constitution, and 1 of them in strength.

I think you may not say that priests are good or bad, the build of the priest makes the real difference. If you say that priests suck in HP, you would better say that the Most Full INT EP's Suck at HP, I have one hint for all the EP's here, if you are going to make a full int EP, then get more HP using soulstones, this really helps!
