Unisex classes

Doesn't it suck that their is only 1 gender you can pick to be a Tamer or a werebeast? I think it sucks because to me its saying that girls are not strong enough to tank and that guys can not be a good owner(even though this is true in the real world). If it was multisex that would be more multigender and fun. I know it would mess up the flying with a girl in your arms thing but still it would make the game much much better. Dont you think? It is pretty weird how they did that. Just for that race though. All the other race, you can pick between the two genders. It's just one class, i don't think i'll ruin the game. I'm also prett positive you can somehow use the custimization to bulk up the females and make them look fugly. >_<

Well I guess since a female Werebeasts would kinda be gross >< Like a muscly female xD, they decided that, so they wouldn't be sexist, make Tamers only female. Even though making no female Werebeasts can be classified as a sexist start, I think females would prefer that there are no bulky female tigers in the games ><

Or they simply did not know how a boobed female werebeast would look xD

Tamers are only femal-ish because thats what the myth on yao jing or whatever the malay/chinese myth is.

And the werebeasts are not males, they are creatures :P It says male on char screen cause they just left it as male instead of adding a unisex bit ;p

yep, in chinese, yaojing is only referred to as females, it is never used on males.( and also its not that good of a word to call someone a yaojing lol.)

I think the biggest reason for the issue is how well loved the Fox is, and how few Tigers there are. It re-enforces an internet standard which otherwise could have been reduced. >.x

The fortunate thing is that, in english, we won't be calling them a Yaojing, we get their english names instead (Fox/Tamer). What's wrong with being called either of those english names? >.>

A fox is still an insult / derogatory comment in english though. If you call someone a fox your insinuating they are sly etc etc. Although its nowhere near as bad as any other comment so meh =c

What i meant with beast is, how can YOU tell if a panda is male or female? you cant really from an online model so =Þ

<.< There are people that like being sly. Being called a "Priest" Stereotypes to "Non-aggressive, quiet, tranquil" and can easily be insulting to some and fine for others. As such, there is nothing wrong with Fox or Tamer.

The head, for the most part, is the only part that does not look human. The hands might as well, I haven't checked that yet. The rest would follow media standards for gender-based differences to humans, where right now they appear strongly male. >.>

i'm female and am playing a beast on the side, he's only lvl 24, high lvl beasts are so rare and if you can last til lvl 80, you'll be rich in no time.

well male elfy chars have traditionally always looked gay in every mmorpg.

really want to see more guys play their own gender ingame and not play a girl char, cos it's so nice to see real guys running about ingame :)

I don't think it's so bad that they have set a couple classes to be only one particular gender. In some other mmorpgs they force players to play the same character for all the classes. Meaning if the warrior is a big muscle bound male then anyone who wants to be a warrior has no choice but to be a muscle bound male.

I really think that in all these games there's some gender issues going on. Basically b/c these games are mainly made by males. I notice how most of the female characters are almost always half naked with huge boobs. :x

it'd be fun if PW could expand the beast and fox with opposite sexes, i'm sure there're ways to make them look good.

If you think about it, it could be simple. Make a similar concept to what they already look like, but trade over skills.

Female Werebeast would use the ear/tail set, but the animal used for this wouldn't be as 'friendly', and she would thus look more fierce.

Male Werefox would use an animal face which looks less fierce, more mystical (and look lighter).

Obviously this would require class names to be changed. >.x
